Sukma 2008 - Logo

This post is to brifely describe about the Logo of SUKMA XII 2008.


The T indicates the first letter of Terengganu word. It is the main of the logo.

The logo itself show the instantaneous stroke that indicates healthy, spirit and speed.

The overall design of the logo symbolise an anchor of big boat "Perahu Besar". This "Perahu Besar" was a famous attraction in Terengganu.

The logo consist of 4 colours.
Black - To highlight that Terengganu is the host for SUKMA XII 2008.
Red - High spirit of winning the competition.
Blue - Unity and the sea that rich with oil and gas, tourism and son on.
Yellow - The sincerity and hardwork of everyong that involves with SUKMA XII 2008. It's also shows that Terengganu is a state with Sultan.

Perkampungan Hadhari 2008

Its strike back, again.

Perkampungan Hadhari 2008 is the 4th Perkampungan Hadhari organised in Terengganu. The first was held at Terengganu State Museum Losong on March. The second one also took the same place, on 22-24/Jun/2006. It was collaboration betweek TV3/TV9 and state Government.

The third Perkampungan Hadhari was in Pulau Duyong, 23 & 24 March 07. The 4th Perkampungan Hadhari, 2008 which is running now held at Taman Tamadun Islam, Pulau Wan Man. It's about 4 km from City of Kuala Terengganu. The organizer also provided free transportation from several places. Eg: you can take a bot penambang from Pasar Kedai Payang Taman Tamadun Islam for free. Besides going to a great place, Taman Tamadun Islam, you also can enjoy the scenery of Village by the river all along you way to Pulau Wan Man.

If you are driving, riding or anything on your own, it's easy to have Kampung Losong as you land mark. Well, it's not far from it.

Taman Tamadun Islam is a world class tourism place. It's a new pride of Terengganu Darul Iman. Taman Tamadun Islam, situated in Pulau Wan Man is about 4 km from City of Kuala Terengganu. Recently, Terengganu as officially announced as Waterfront Heritage City. There is no doubt that Visit Trengganu 2008 will be a great event ever held in Terengganu.

Taman Tamadun Islam is an idea of Perdana Menteri Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Overall, Taman Tamadun Islam will have 21 historical Islamic monuments from all around the world. The most attractive element in Taman Tamadun Islam is its Masjid Kristal.
